To tell your story you need someone to listen. If you want people to listen to your story you’re going to have to go fishing. After a fisherman chooses the perfect spot he knows in order to catch the fish he’s going to have to bait his hook. The same thing applies when you want people to listen to your story, you have to give them something to draw them in. After you get their attention now you have to peak their interest. The bait is getting them to want to know more. For example, will he go over the cliff or will he be able to stop before he goes over the cliff. You want them to want to see how it unfolds. In your purpose-driven story, what is your bait?
